Resident Artist Program
The Opera Company of Brooklyn (OCB) Resident Artist Program (RAP) is an intensive 9-month professional training program for singers, coaches. pianists and conductors.
OCB provides a diverse range of training with a curriculum of individual and group coaching/rehearsals. World-renowned artists who worked with our artists include: Lucine Amara, Helena Binder, Harolyn Blackwell, Ned Canty, William Hicks, Catherine Malfitano, Jane Marsh, Ashley Putnam, Thomas Pasatieri, Charles Riecker, and Richard Woitach, among others.
Performance opportunities vary with season and include a city-wide education program, concert-version, semi-staged and fully-staged productions with the main company.
All accepted RAP artists receive a stipend.
